Final Planning & Environmental Linkages Report Released
On August 29, 2024, the Federal Highway Administration concurred with the Illinois Department of Transportation – Central Bureau of Local Roads & Streets’ recommendation that the Planning & Environmental Linkages (PEL) Report is considered to be complete as a standalone PEL planning document.
This report documents all of the environmental and design studies, including the recommended build alternative, as well regulatory agency and stakeholder coordination for the Caton Farm-Bruce Road project. The PEL document can be used as a planning tool to guide future studies for individual projects along the study corridor.
